Despite the instability, the federal government has already passed 1,106 more pages of legislation than they did last year. The sharing economy will suffer if Daniel Andrews wins the Victorian election and a report out of the United States shows just how much damage to the economy is done by occupational licensing. The EU is thinking about getting its own army and everyone is mad at Kanye and Kim for using private firefighters. James and Pete talk to Year 10 student Luc Cazenave about doing work experience with the IPA, how he came to learn about liberty and what the effects of the intellectual dark web are on high school students (16:55-29:33). We also talk to Year 11 student Maxim Bashev about his article in the latest edition of the IPA Review on his grandparents’ experience under communism in Russia (29:39-48:10)
