The year on which we report has been one of hard work, real impact and solid growth. Thank you for enabling the IPA to be an effective voice against the radical activism that denigrates, rather than celebrates, our great nation.
Membership grew from 8,200 to 9,100, which is more than 10 per cent growth in 12 months – an exceptional result for just one year. This is testament to community concern about the direction our society is headed, and growing appreciation of the values the IPA champions.
Revenue has increased, as have our expenses. The IPA has faithfully and responsibly invested in projects aimed at growing our impact, as we lead the national conversation on critical issues.
The IPA has had a positive impact on the public policy debates of 2024, with our research driving the media narrative and influencing conversations across the nation. Our research has been featured in major print, broadcast and online platforms, details of which can be found in our Annual Report.
The IPA operates independently of both government and corporate Australia, which enables us to research issues pertaining to individual, social, political, and economic freedoms. The IPA neither seeks nor accepts government funding; we rely entirely on the generous support of our Members and private donors.
