This year marks the IPA’s 80th anniversary. We were founded in 1943 to provide a firm philosophical grounding for free market policy ideas and, through our research, to further the individual, social, political and economic freedom of the Australian people.
You will also see that on key financial and membership metrics we have completed our most successful year ever, with revenue increasing by nearly one-third and membership exceeding 8,500 for the first time.
We have been a beacon for talented young men and women seeking to make a contribution to Australia’s future by joining a unique organisation committed to the principles of social, economic and political freedom.
The IPA neither seeks nor accepts funds from Government, and listed corporations now prefer to donate to causes like the Voice to Parliament. We rely entirely on the support of members like you for our operational funding.
