This week James and Pete talk Australia Day, Trump’s Fake News Awards, some recent articles from the IPA and Jordan Peterson’s upcoming tour of Australia. We talk to Alice Springs town councillor and CIS academic Jacinta Nampijinpa Price about her views on Australia Day and the reaction it has garnered, as well as what issues we should be discussing when it comes to Indigenous politics (13:34 -28:38). We also talk to IPA Research Fellow Andrew Bushnell about the organised crime problem in Victoria and what could be done as well as the problems with the McKell Institute’s latest report on inequality in Australia (28:52-45:09).
