On the latest episode of The Mainstream podcast, the Institute of Public Affairs’ Daniel Wild and John Roskam shared the good news that Chris Bowen will likely be moved to the backbench in the coming months to allow for Labor to crabwalk away from its net zero commitments.
Daniel and John also sparred on the issue of the federal government’s ban on under-16s accessing social media (due to come into effect on 10 December 2025) and what role the government should have in the matter.
And John reviewed a book he has been reading recently, In Search of John Christian Watson: Labor’s First Prime Minister by Michael Easson.
