On 22 September, Institute of Public Affairs’ Senior Fellow John Roskam speaks to journalist Chris Uhlmann and author of the new children’s book The Useless Tune about Maggie, about a magpie looking for a tree to call home.
Chris is one of Australia’s leading journalists and has worked in the Canberra press gallery with the ABC and Channel Nine, and his articles have appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. In 2016, Chris wrote that Australia risks electricity blackouts if we were to meet our renewable energy targets and he’s described the climate change movement as like a ‘hard-core religious cult’.
