Democracy, Freedom, Faith in the 21st Century: An IPA Discussion

Please join the Institute of Public Affairs for a discussion with Greg Sheridan, Bella d’Abrera and John Roskam on democracy, freedom and faith in the 21st century.

Greg Sheridan has been the foreign editor of The Australian since 1992. He is the author of seven books, including his latest work God Is Good For You – A defence of Christianity in troubled times in which he examines how the Judeo-Christian tradition has created and underpinned the moral, social and cultural fabric of Western Civilisation and our world.

Greg will be joined in discussion by John Roskam, the Executive Director of the Institute of Public Affairs, and Dr Bella d’Abrera, the Director of the IPA’s Foundations of Western Civilisation Program. They will be discussing Greg’s new book God Is Good For You, the importance of the Judeo-Christian heritage, the condition of the current debate about the role of Western Civilisation in Australia, and taking questions from the audience.
