Tristan Prasser is the Development Insight Analyst at the Institute of Public Affairs.
Tristan will work with the Deputy Executive Director to support the work already underway to better understand the IPA’s members and donors and to tailor the IPA’s communications to what our members are most interested in.
Before joining the IPA, Tristan previously held positions within the Queensland Public Service, Saíd Business School, Magdalen College Oxford, and University of Oxford. He has spent time living in both the UK and Germany.
Tristan completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and German at the University of Queensland, including an exchange at the Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg in Germany. He later completed a post-graduate qualification in Australian Migration Law and Practice at the Australian National University.
Tristan has a keen interest in public policy matters such as energy, the environment and cities, with a particular interest in nuclear energy.
In his spare time, Tristan enjoys running and playing sports, reading great books, and travel.
