Patrick Hannaford is a research fellow at the Institute of Public Affairs. Prior to joining the IPA Patrick worked as a media adviser to a federal Senator. He has also worked in various policy and journalism roles in Australia and the United States.

Patrick’s writing has appeared in leading publications around the English speaking world, including The Australian, The Age, Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, The Spectator Australia, National Post, Reason, The Washington Examiner, Spiked-Online, and The Federalist.
