Mitchell Ablett-Nelson is the University of Queensland campus coordinator for Generation Liberty. He is currently studying Law and Arts, majoring in Political Science and Criminology. Mitchell works in a commercial law firm. Once he has finished his studies, Mitchell intends on practicing law with a focus on planning & environment and banking and finance.

In Mitchell’s view, the concepts of free speech, market liberalism and individual responsibility are central to informing life choices and developing modern policy solutions in the 21st century. He recognises the insurmountable place which free markets have played, and will continue playing, in alleviating human suffering across the world.

Mitchell is enthusiastic about the work he does on campus and looks forward to helping grow the network of liberty minded students at UQ and across the country. He is optimistic about future generations, and young students, firmly believing that classical liberal ideals will thrive.
