Hugh Tobin is the Director of Digital Transformation at the Institute of Public Affairs.
With fifteen years’ experience in marketing and communications, Hugh specialises in driving transformational change across organisations. His previous roles include Director of Media and Content at Victoria University, where he oversaw the media, social and content functions. Prior to this he served as Head of Corporate Affairs at Sensis, leading the organisations media program to build brand and reputation. In his role as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AUSVEG, Hugh helped reshape the organisation and launch its Public Affairs Unit.
Hugh has completed a Master of Business Administration at Melbourne Business School and Master of Communications at RMIT University. Through his various roles he has extensive media experience and has also previously served as Deputy Executive Director of the IPA. In his current role, Hugh advises on the IPA’s digital strategy and its implementation.
