Boston Edwards is the Campus Coordinator at the University of Wollongong. Boston is a proud descendant of the Gumbayngirr people of the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. Coming from a politically aware family, Boston gained an interest in politics at a very early age. His politics has changed over time as he has researched for himself which political ideals align with his beliefs, finally settling on classical liberalism. Boston’s beliefs stems from his passion for individualism and frustration with unnecessary government intervention. The rejection of the identity politics is important to Boston, especially being both Gay and Aboriginal himself. Boston has a keen interest on social issues and how best to get government out of the lives of Australians.
Boston is in his 4th year of a Bachelor of Laws and Arts, double majoring in Politics and Journalism. He hopes to use his education to help achieve reforms and better outcomes in laws, regulations and policies concerning family law.
