Dr. Bella d’Abrera was quoted in The Australian on NSW Education Minister Rob Stokes’s call for greater support of Australian values in schools.

“This is an extremely positive move by the NSW government, and it should be adopted by other state governments.’’

Dr. d’Abrera stated that it is clear Mr. Stokes understands that it is ­“essential for all members of Australian society to share fundamental values’’.

“All Australian schoolchildren should understand and be taught about values such as equality ­between men and women, religious toleration, and economic and social freedom.’’

“Teaching our children these values will ensure that they are passed on to the next generation.’’

Dr. Jennifer Marohasy was quoted in The Australian on the Bureau of Meteorology’s temperature data.

“While the ­bureau’s temperature data underpins the theory of human-caused global warming with far-reaching economic policy consequences, there is no evidence to suggest that the bureau has been providing anything but a biased picture of climate change since the 1990s, when automatic weather stations were installed across Australia.”
