Nina Lohanatha works with both membership and development team as a Membership Coordinator for the Institute of Public Affairs.
At her role, Nina converses regularly with IPA’s members regarding their membership and event enquiries, provides administrative support to the Director for Membership and Events, develops and maintains membership database and assists with the development of member recruitment and retention programs. Nina also enjoy working with young people who have chosen to complete their internship with the IPA.
Nina has always been interested in working for a non-for-profit organisation as she admires those who are fighting for their belief for a better society. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Nina completed an internship with Salvation Army where she learned the earnestness to make a difference for the community.
Prior joining the IPA in 2015, Nina has involved in Festival Indonesia Inc. as Assistant Project Manager and Media Liaison and worked as an Executive Assistant for the Indonesian Consul-General in Melbourne.
Nina graduated from Deakin University and received a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2007. Currently, she is pursuing her graduate diploma’s degree in editing and publishing.
In her spare time, Nina also volunteers as a radio broadcaster and editor for semi-annually newsletter at a community radio and occasionally hosting communities’ functions.
